the future of star wars
As of October 30th 2012 George Lucas signed over the rights of his company Lucas arts which holds his iconic movies Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc. over to Disney. Kathleen Kennedy will be in charge of the whole thing while George is just there as a creative consultant as he gets ready to retire. Disney announces that they will be making Star Wars Episodes 7 8 and 9 including 2 spin off movies in between each. We will be getting the first out of the 5 by December 18th 2015 which takes fans by surprise considering Star Wars movies are always released in May. From then on we will be getting a Star Wars movie every year until 2019. Star Wars episode 7 officially already has a director which is the all so talented sci fi magic maker, J.J Abrams. Abrams promised to bring out the best in the new cast he has assembled which includes the originals such as Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. The new cast set to star in the films has Andy Serkis, John boyega, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar isaacs etc.. Disney also took the liverty of making a Star Wars rebels animated TV show on Disney that will connect with the future star wars movies. Episode 7 will be called "The Force Awakens" and already has a official teaser trailer that had fans rumbling up ready for a new start.
